24. December - Christmas

I visited a hospital for children. Together we made Christmas tree decoration. We sended it to the Christ Child and belief it or not - tonight I found this Christmas tree in the forest, near my house. That`s magic!! Frohe Weihnachten Johanna, Timo, Anna, Sebastian, Silvio, Peter, Martha, Michael, Christoph, Bertram, Paula, Dr. Werner und Engel Christine. PS: Shari hat ihn gefunden, wie ich gesagt habe!!

Photographer Stepan HonPhotographer Stepan Hon

The photographer Stepan Hon accompanies Jana and Thomas for the next months.

He will document with pictures the training for the Fl 2010.

 

He is specialized in documentary photography and photojournalism. Very famous - the documentary about Transcarpathian Region in western Ukraine.

By the way - in 2003 and 2004 Stepan was official photographer of the President of the Czech Republik!

25. Jul. 2009 - CROSS-BORDER-TEAM is starting the season

Das neue Zuhause für die kommenden Monate. Das neue Zuhause für die kommenden Monate.

Es wird still werden im hoffmann-kennel und ich möchte mir noch nicht vorstellen, wie es sein wird, ohne Hundegeheul aufzuwachen und einzuschlafen. In den nächsten Tagen ziehen 31 Hunde um ins Trainingscamp nach Tschechien und werden erst acht Monate später wieder in ihre niederbayerische Heimat zurückkehren. Am 1. August beginnt die Vorbereitung auf die Rennsaison. Jana Henychova wird zwei Teams trainieren. Unterstützt wird sie dabei von Radek, Barbara, Karoline und Simon.  

 

It will be quiet at the hoffmann-kennel and I will not imagine how it will be to wake up and to fall asleep without dog howling. Within the next days, 31 dogs move to the training camp to Czechia and they will come back to Bavarian eight months later. The training starts on 1st of August. Jana Henychova will train two teams. She will be supported from Radek, Barbara, Karoline and Simon.

Zusammen mit Jana Henychova war ich zu Gast auf der Hochzeit von Lenka und Jarda Soumar. Bei Sonnenschein, unter freiem Himmel, in atemberaubender Landschaft, gaben sich die beiden das Ja-Wort.

Jarda Soumar ist der Inhaber von MANMAT. Wer beste Ausrüstung sucht, der ist hier genau richtig!

 

Together with Jana Henychova I was invited to the marriage of Lenka and Jarda Soumar. A celebration at sunshine, under a free sky, in a breathtaking landscape.

Jarda Soumar is the owner of MANMAT and is produceing best equipment for dogsleding!

03. Jun. 2009 - Visit from Alta

Roger Dahl (Musher-Hero from Norway) was visiting the hoffmann kennel. He is with his motorbike on the way to Croatia and will be more than 8000 km on the road (a kind of Finnmarkslopet :-) )

The hoffmann-kennel was one of his "checkpoints". We spent a great time together!
